Have you heard? The Cottage Charm quilt pattern is available! A few of you already have your hands on the pattern. I can’t wait to see your creations. I am sharing one of these beautiful quilts with you today made by one of the pattern testers.
This quilt was made by one of my friends and pattern tester Rachel of Farwest_made on Instagram. She is a talented and amazing creator of many things not just quilts. If you want to see how talented she is, click below to head over to her Instagram.
When she created her quilt she chose to use Cozy and Magical Fabric by Maureen Cracknell of Art Gallery Fabric. This fabric is just so gorgeous. It is also directional.
She was determined to not only create the Cottage Charm quilt but also make sure her blocks and fabric were upright. No upside-down Christmas trees in this quilt.
That can be tricky because the basic blocks in the pattern rotate to create the overall design. After looking through the diagrams and overall quilt layout she set to task.
And she nailed it! I told you talented.
I was so impressed and blown away by how she made this quilt come together so beautifully.
She made the lap quilt size and layout option number 1 listed in the pattern. She also used cuddle(not pictured) on the back of the quilt which makes it beautiful and cozy.
